May I ask how to "paste the downloaded files" Turn steam cloud sync back on afterwards and you're golden. In essence, just make sure that your main saves are backed up (I copied the folder to my desktop for ease), and then disable Steam cloud save for Hogwarts, delete all your saves from the main save folder, paste the downloaded saves, start the game and load the 1:36am save, catch the butterfly chest, then finally delete the saves and replace them with your backed up saves. Instructions for what to do are in the link at the top with the downloaded save. There's currently a bug report on the official WB site for those interested: in addition to the many reddit posts about it. I literally spent 4-5 hours replaying the butterfly locations pre and post patch to no avail until I found this save. Either way, many of us are/were stuck on 139/140 conjurables. Obviously this can be abused by those who simply cannot be bothered to collect everything, but for people like myself who collected every single chest only to fall victim to the butterfly chest bug (recently fixed in a Xbox patch, but not on PC) it's far easier than starting an entire new game and hoping that it doesn't bug out again.įor those unaware, theres a very annoying bug where one of the butterfly chests does not give you a reward, with most people suspecting it being the original starting quest chest location. this save file will come in very handy:
